Academically, the program is strong with the professors that we have. They're the backbone to how much we learn. I mean, we have some great professors that have had so much experience. And so that helps get that experience for after when you graduate, you know, you can get a little feel for it.
Hands on experience is really big around here. With painting, you make your own strainers. Not only did you paint it, but you constructed the item that it's on. Pottery is another great one. Obviously, you get to make the clay, you actually mix it up. And then you make your pots, and then, you know, they go on the kiln, and then you make the glazes yourself. So a lot of that product that you have you put a lot of time and work into it.
The facilities in the studio building is awesome. The building itself is interesting to look at. So it just feels like you're in this artistic, creative environment. When you're in the studio, you feel like making art, and that's one of the benefits of being in here.
The best part of this program is the social interaction that we have in the studio. We just all come together and we have fun. We visit from room to room, help critique each other's work. So it's so social, and you get to make a lot of friends. So yeah, I got it pretty good here.
